23rd International Council on Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Safety (ICADTS) Conference
28-31 August 2022
De Doelen, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
Dear colleague,
The International Council on Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Safety (ICADTS) Conference brings together delegates from the areas of public health and safety, traffic, and transport psychology, public health, law, medicine, economics, law enforcement, public policy, education, pharmacology, toxicology, forensic science, human factors, and alcohol intervention and rehabilitation.
For over 65 years delegates have met to find solutions to issues relating to alcohol, drugs and traffic safety around the world. ICADTS provides delegates with a great opportunity to network and explore ideas and solutions to current and emerging issues.
The tri-annual conference of ICADTS is a major international stage for exchanging research and policy developments between experts in the field. The conference provides high quality contributions on a wide range of topics. Challenging research and updates on international policies on driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs are always of great value to the participants of this conference and will contribute to further develop and synchronize legislative actions worldwide. It will also give young scientists the opportunity to present their work and to meet experts in the field.
In 2022 Rotterdam is the next host city for the ICADTS Conference. Rotterdam is a dynamic, innovative and vibrant city, with a compact city center with several hotels and dinner locations within walking distance of the conference venue. Besides this, it is easy accessible from all international locations, by air (Amsterdam Schiphol Airport only takes 26 minutes by public transport), train, boat, bus or car.
Rotterdam in the Netherlands is well known internationally. In a New York Times article “52 Places to go in 2014” Rotterdam is ranked 10th place and noted for its first-class architecture.
Post-World War II reconstruction has changed the face of Europe’s largest seaport. Innovative and striking, cubed architecture has given shape to the most modern skyline in the Netherlands, according to this report in The New York Times. We look forward to welcoming you to Rotterdam in 2022!
